A Gift For You!

Hello Everyone!
During the holidays, I was lucky enough to receive quite a few gift cards. Personally, I love them! I’m a huge girly-girl, so I love any excuse to go shopping! In fact, I (and my little brother) have been receiving gift cards for Christmas from our family for so many years that we have made it a tradition to use them the day after Christmas at the plethora of post-holiday sales! We seriously set an alarm and wake up at the crack of dawn and go out shopping all day.
Other people, however, think of gift cards as a “cop-out” for putting the time into a real gift. I think it depends on the circumstances. For example, buying a gift card for the mall for my grandma may qualify as “coping-out” on a gift. However, if someone bought this for me, I think it’s a perfect gift because someone thought of me enough to know that I enjoy shopping, and would love to have some extra funds to do so!
So, how do you feel about gift cards? Do you feel like they’re a cop-out on a “real” gift? Or do you like to spend spend spend?!
